Finally a phone other than a Nokia 95 / 97 that I want to buy. Palm may be making a comeback
Minus the app store Palm's Pre phone looks like it has everything , obviously I can't play with it to see if it's as smooth as the demo but it beats up the iPhone in many important ways. The app store , the Facebook apps, the Android ,Blackberry and jesus will it ever end? Remember I love this stuff and it's a chore for me.
Multi tasking between screens
Removable battery.
Option of a real keyboard
Easy to develop for ( in theory- business rules are usually the biggest hurdle)
While the former can be coded into the iPhone Apple's reticence to give basic features like cut and paste between apps, heck even on the same page, reduces it to an information in most cases. That's not a given though the hardware should be able to drive it but I think their battery issues really prvent this from ever becoming a useful multitasker in it's current inception though I'd still like that to be a choice.
