iphones, phones and the hitchhiker's on the road of progress?

Walking is more popular nearly everyone can do it.

Driving is more efficient yet access to roads, cars and all the attendant regulation that goes with them makes this  not as prevalent or affordable as taking Shanks's pony.

Yet both are mobile.

Taking the number of miles travelled in other words is just one piece of the puzzle.

So goes my forced analog between the iPhone and the rest of the mobile devices that can access the net. Yes more pages are requested by iPhone users because it's just so much easier to use on a casual basis but the number of requests suggests that maybe the only  conclusion that's fair to make is.

People with iPhones like to surf which is a little more casual than the majority of people left those without smart phones/ data plans (80%) or other smart phone's 66% of the remaining 20%.

That’s pretty far from being the Kleenex,Scotch Tape or Post It of the mobile world.   More on that in a bit
