Funniest piece about the Storm yet.

Is Apple scared of RIM? | The Digital Home - CNET News

Is it a coincidence that Apple's iPhone 2.2 update was released on the same day the BlackBerry Storm hit stores with a touch screen, 3G connectivity, and enterprise-friendly functionality that rivals anything Apple has on the market?

I think not.

Rather prophetic those last three words. The comments on this post are exactly the  stream of abuse that I'd love to see on local tv news broadcasts.  This post begins with a coincidence and then goes OTT in trying to claim this as the next generation in cell phones  rather than  au currant or possibly even playing catch up to the iPhone version 1.0!  The article doesn't  highlight it's major omission of what I would consider a  "must have"  e.g  Wi Fi

Although it will never admit it, and Apple will claim that its iTunes integration and App Store makes it a better choice, you can bet that company executives are running scared Friday. Even though Apple created this category and revolutionized the market, RIM just one-upped the founders, and Apple knows that.

Apple created which category?  Certainly not touch screen phones, not smart phones and not the ability to download apps so  other than the Jeopardy category   Smart phones that Apple released it seem s like I underestimated the commitment you need to write publicly on these matters   In other words this Rim job leaves a nasty taste in one's mouth.
