Best Western Mobile | Wap Review

Shared  a story on Google the other day with some notes on Best Western's new mobile site

“not bad but the logo is way oversized on the iphone. I get it I typed in bestwestern.com I don't need 1/3 of the screen taking up with the branding. On iphone the spacing of the options SUCK way too close together. It may be better on a less able device but this is annoying as an Iphone site for sure.”
Not very detailed and certainly not worth a post on its own.   Wapreview.com have reviewed the site. and while it may appear obvious ,in hindsight, remember the site creators didn't think so ,the people that requested it, and should know their customers the best, didn't think so.

The search brings up a list of ALL hotels in or near the selected city including ones with no rooms available. At least the ones with no vacancies have a message indicating that they are full, but why list them at all?
That's just one of a list of issues that show  that an end - end understanding  of booking a room from a mobile device is missing some key pieces.

I don't want to repeat the whole review here but  their points on   expected usage re dates,  date entry and the insanity of  showing unavailable ,options to a mobile user are all good ones.  The lack of contact numbers in the results  is amazing given the context.
