heaven and hell. The weekend of fun service

Back after a four day mini vacation that was filled with some of the best service and worst service I've seen lately.

Best:   Triumph and Ducati superstore

While I am a fan of Japanese bikes I have to say that I find Tom Martino's ( a consumer reporter ) take on the manufacturers seems to be valid.  The vehicles are on the whole more reliable but should you have an issue with them  they companies could care less ( having had Suzuki take NO interest in a dealership claiming to have carried out service work which they did not do  I've seen that first hand)  I love the Aerio SX but there is now only one dealer in a 50 mile radius   ,down from five since I bought it, and it's getting hard to see my way to buying another one.

Anyway both my  wife-lette and myself were treated very well at the Triumph store and it's nice to see people that actually are into their work.  Most bike stores in Phoenix are  laughably predatory and dismissive of women it seems.   I love walking away from sales it's the most fun you can  have on a Sat morning  Yep   Euro or American dealers just seem to cater to  people that aren't as annoying

As to the next part.  Mother's day  light lunch  between events turned out ghastly.

Worst: Streets of New York 5843 W. Thunderbird : They made for a Mother of a service . AVOID!
