In the race to worst cellphone company ever it's a Sprint to the finish.
I love analysts. The idea you you can use marketing to change reality to make the network work as noted by the commenter on this post at mobilecrunch, doesn't even get off the ground.
I was with Nextel , you can see the trouble I had with them here, and their attitude that even though they knew the Iden network was overloaded in my area ,that we could no longer use the phones to talk with each other at peak times was somehow not within their obligations to do so. With that kind of commitment I'm not surprised that people have wandered off seeking pastures new. I really missed the class on marketing back in college "polishing a turd 101" since I'm not sure how the analyst's, let's just call them shapers, Hey Grendel, supper's ready, are going to redeem their lack of service, stability and let's toss ethics in for good measure.

“What the company really suffers from is an extremely poor marketing message,” Nelson said. “That’s something that can potentially be turned around in a relatively short period of time.”
