While more of us are oohing and ahh ing over the street level view that five cites have had bestowed on them over at Google maps, yes they even have pictures inside the tunnels, they "snuck out" and bought another company , I mean it is Tuesday after all.
They bought Greenborder which does a lighter version of my "excessive" sandbox and produce software that isolates your browsing session from the rest of the machine ( the job the OS is meant to do MS
. The safest way I've found to surf areas known for spyware is to set up a virtual PC, browse with it and at the end of the session it's totally wiped. With virtual PC being a Free download it's easier than ever to "double bag" your surfing. For those not going to this extreme this could be a nice safe place to be advertised at
