Through a scanner smugly? GPS mirror let's you bask in your lead footed coolness

Mirror Mirror in my car,

I was talking to a colleague, friend, eating buddy and purveyor of HID lights about how much fun navigation systems would become when we had realtime GPS  mixed with people being able to  report camera sites in realtime  as far as  accidents and speed cameras  were concerned ( I've still not had time to get my thoughts down on a mesh network using commuter traffic, I will though )

Here's an interesting halfway house  a reflection, if you will, on how people see themselves as being responsible drivers for purchasing safety aids such as this . A Gps enabled rear mirror. The manufacturer's site certainly has a safety theme and they also sell laser avoidance measures just to be on the really safe side.    That  being said anything that takes away revenue from the state ( if they really cared their attention to road design would save more lives than their metal cops)  and makes people feel like they are getting something over on "the man" I'm in favour of,  mainly so I can point out their failings the next time the object to one of legally interesting ideas.
