Can we please have the One person and a camera model of internet/ tech news gathering replaced with
One Person, a camera and a mic or two for the host and the guests? I don't get it 2- 3k on a camera yet $80 on a mic is somehow going too far?
New media is throwing out the baby with the bathwater when low fi is not just considered an unfortunate effect of not being able to afford the time, money or training to make an attempt to do it properly, but a badge of honor that we don't need to because that's the old way of thinking. "hey I make podcasts for myself" fair comment and about the best way to keep the audience at two, and then only because you glued headphones to your spouse while they were sleeping.
I'm on my third abandoned podcast / 2nd video of the day because the mistaken belief that content over clarity will win the day.. Sorry it's not a Hindenburg, drive through Dealy plaza or the Apollo landing so pretty please , with sugar on top,

Think at the same time he could get a vga to composite adapter for the demo portion of his show. Might be better than hand held zoom in and zoom out to ceiling shots.

Yeah it's kinda annoying to have a tech love fest while so blatantly eschewing the means to raise it to an acceptable level. I just can't get behind it .
Now if only I could do better. Let me go expense a studio
