If I was in pr / marketing at Sandisk I'd be ordering up some Nano to use for skeet practice an AP piece  reproduced in today's Arizona Republic mentions their rivals,  nothing that unusual, and shows a large picture of the player, er not their player but Apple's   OUCH!  I just replaced my MP3 player and while I came dangerously close to a Zune ( which in isolation doesn't suck it's only when you use it as MS intended that it starts to get ugly) but in the end settled on a   very new, very cute Samsung K3 which was based on how good it sounds and yes I admit paying about $30 more for the player than a serviceable  , but f'ugly' Creative zen, based on the UI and form factor but  oo it's red pretty pretty shiny.. ok  serious review will follow.

SanDisk, Yahoo unite to launch music player

SAN JOSE - Flash memory-card maker SanDisk Corp. said Monday that it will pair its new wireless music player with music services from Yahoo Inc., but analysts doubt the new gadget will be able to steal much share from Apple Inc.'s dominant iPod.
