There are those that believe that the rights of others should be curtailed because they have assumed the mantle of responsibility for us all.   Well I wish they would take their messianic complexes elsewhere , I.e out of harms way.    Time and time again the courts have upheld the state has no individual duty to use the money it removed from you at gunpoint to  competently run those services "you need" and  why want.  I know I always need to be threatened to do those things I value and enjoy and I'm betting you're the same? 

So this  brings us to  a report about the search for the Lost tech editor  and family ( Kim) that took the wrong turn at the signpost up ahead into the  good enough for government work zone.  All the things that we pay to have a standing service in existence for, you know to have the kind of  expertise that ad hoc  search parties would have,  including common communication, the same maps and even knowing where the hell you've looked escaped the public servants.  Faith in government will get you killed.
