Nielsen study: video use on iPods very low

I love the sound of smelling "right" in the morning.

of the available data, only 15.8 percent of all iPod users followed in the study had ever played any type of video content on either their iPods or iTunes, and about a third of that group didn't even own a video iPod.

A recent Nielson study shows what was rather obvious to anyone that tiny screens that require full attention  and eat up battery life suck in relation to  a cheap ass  5" dvd player from which you can replenish media/ power with greater ease than mr pod or Zune.  You can't  run with video, drive with video and just try sharing a 2: screen with someone you don't already know well enough to be a friend with benefits.

The study looks  pretty suspect, checking for video use from people that don't have a video capable device is  like asking avid cyclists if they drive less now that gas prices have risen.
