I've never seen the show ( though I've been told it's good and it's somewhere on my netflix queue )and bearly watch TV so I'm not the best person to comment on this one.   On a sidenote it may be that  Sci Fi channel sucks so hard  for most shows their  cookie cutter productions with apalling actors  have tainted my judgement. I.e  iif the imagination shown in the "what if" bumpers seeped into most of their shows I would be a far happier otter.

So not knowing a lot about the show I'll just impose my own thoughts I  think I appreciate why he was a keynote now  than say..10 minutes ago when I started to think about just glossing over this.

Ron Moore's presentation, ok more like a "just so " story   shows a lot of the  "theory" that  may sound a little too much like the "cult of cluetrain"  ( something I may be guilty of in part though one has to say that most of it's common sense Treat as as humans and we'll reciprocate,investigate and if we  believe you advocate for you    but relates to the desire for honest communication unmediated by the powers that be  to provide a genuine,  as evidenced by the quotes gathered here ,   value to  his audience.
