Portable media expo Ontario 2006 I've been.
Safely back from Ontario CA and the 2nd annual portable media expo ( I
missed the first one re our son being born and I never go to the
first annual event of anything , k apart from Gnomedex and I
think I was right on that one. There are several layers to any
convention and in most cases the interesting items take place
outwith the main body of the show.
So over the coming days I'm going to post on the Keynotes which were free to all attendees and the conference itself which had a paid element and five tracks per day on business, beginning continuing , specialised focuses such as education and consulting and finally ways to monetize your podcast. Wait there's more. Podango used their floorspace to host an "unconvention" which in it's own right would have warranted cloning research so that I could attend both.
Met some very interesting people including Scott Fletcher from Podcheck review who has some useful material up regarding the show and a show that if you have an interest in podcasts, and you do if you've reached this far into the post, should be on your playlist.
Coming up.. Keynote.
