Tesla, one of my all time heroes and  one I identify with he didn't stop the motor of the world but gave it one.  Sadly he is nowhere near as popular in the US  since it appears we have an Edison complex, in the manner that Italy  and  UK has a  Marconi one  the  stories behind scientific advancement have always amused me since I mistakenly believed that  objectivity would rule the day  since you can't vote away a universal constant ... Then I learned more about politics and found that  2+2 really can equal five. 

2006 is the 150th year since his birth and the Tesla Society have  unveiled a  second statue at Niagra falls ,this past summer  ,home to the world's  first hydro-electric power plant take a wander over and wonder why his name isn't as widely recognised as the "wizard of menlo park"
