It's not "Myspace" it's ours Online ID requirements coming? for the children..
"MySpace.com has been a center of drug activity, of gang activity, and of Internet predators," said Rep. Mark Kirk, an Illinois Republican. "Isn't it entirely appropriate that the state get involved?"
Actually Mark no it's not. Here are a lot of reasons why in this Cnet post Seems that if you want to require people to ID themselves online with age verification then adults have to accommodate the parental choices to leave their <18 year old in front of a computer, whereabouts and associations unknown by proving your age. This country is not by the children and for the children. Maybe we need a webcam licence ( for the children) A ban on camera phones for those under 18 (for the children) NO unfacilliated communication between a person under 18 or one over without parental exemption after the parent's have passed a drug test and filed with the state for permission of course.
Protect me, Protect me from those that want to protect me!!!
