In my new ,and likely to be,only entry on saving time in the USA section.For the tiniest extra cost of adding a mag stripe on both sides of common credit and debit cards the time saved behind people trying to orientate their card would save enough man hours  for a Berkely study to    find if if there really is a deleterious effect on wymen's self esteem by calling them man , instead of person , hours?  The 2nd easiest way to save time  teach all the Fry's grocery staff what a shallot is.
