Just talking with a friend about photography and it's interesting to see what practical skills I've acquired that are going the way of the dodo.

Can develop black and white , color and print each  ( though I have to admit I hate printing from colour transparencies  ) yet I suck with photoshop.  Well I guess I do since I can't afford the thing Seriously though if you look at that program as replacing a darkroom the cost isn't as insane
Growing your own food.

I can't weld  yet but I think that's about to change.   We bought a lotus seven'esque  car the other day. Custom frame,  z28 rear, front and engine and not a lot more ( ok there's some bodywork ).

And more    Before this kind of thing becomes illegal , or fuel runs out it seemed like the thing to do.
