Seriously thinking about changing the title, seriously? er no , it's a blog. It's not the child,girlfriend or an otter gayly bashing the crap out of a crab at sunset so let's keep some perspective;) So far it's  not turning out to be the "@work" part that I hoped would appear.  There's also the r/t risk of  people just thinking you're a fool and then providing them with the ammunition by writing.
 
Another day pining for the Fjords or just feeling shagged out after a really long squawk?  This weekend went poorly  I had hoped that the  Acid ( It's music creation software) would arrive in a  resplendent in a shiny box with documentation.  No such luck. It arrived in a flat envelope with  two cardboard DVD holders on the proceeding Monday.  Yes this is more software for what , when it finally gets out in the wild, is going to be one very expensive podcast  ( unless I do 4000 of them in which case it's a bargain )   To their credit this version of Acid 6  arrived with a VST software synth ( Native Instruments KOMPAKT )  which rivals the hardware units I already possess in everything bar friendliness .

Analog surface controls get you 95% of where you want to be far quicker than their glass counterparts but the immediacy of feedback is diminished.   This is a problem that's been bugging me with regards to audio on the web and the ways in which it can be manipulated  to produce that result without the benefit of a physical control surface. ( well keeps me out of trouble )
