An interesting takedown of the fluffiness and hype that surrounds web 2.0. I rather like his points re the mobile arena.Something that I wish more people would pay attention too is what people will pay for the most rudimentary apps on a closed system. , E.g in many cases the carriers "vandalise" their phones , or hobble their networks, to ensure that your monthly message tab is kept open. 

Seemingly most of these are chargable  only as a result of an artificially induced scarcity  a model which may not fit well when trying to apply it to the web.
