So they got blogs wrong.. and now an encore. Podcasting a la Forbes
@work, Damn it looks like most of the entries seem to be more @play. Ok so this one's more related to work. While watching the Aristocrats the another night I was reminded of a meeting that started with a dev walking into the office , but I digress.
Forbes recently took a swipe at blogging, "blogging" took a swipe back and won on a technical knockout.
This month they've turned towards podcasting, and , "anal"ysed it in the context of bass ackwordness that's usually reserved for the local tv tech guy/gal at 0715-0719 Sunday mornings.
"In addition to "supply side" innovations, podcasting has stimulated a new form of amateur content production. The podcasting system threatens to do for digital broadcasts what accessible Web-design software did for amateur homepages. "
There you have it, Podcasting handed down to a greatful public with a magnanimity one can ONLY achieve when "it's not yours to give away". No Apple did not introduce the term, popularised maybe , invented.. no. Podcasting did not spring up so that we could receive more content, THE SAME CONTENT, from the staid , predictable and increasingly paid for selections from the bowels of CC and friends.
Also for Eris' sake leave out the word digital it's superflous, digital-audio,digital broadcasts, digital content and digital entertainment is so annoying that here ... can you see my digit raise? The remainder of the article looks like it was "channeled" by a medium ( I would say fake medium, but now I am being redundant) given the amount of words used to information contained.
