ER mk 3 ( credibility gap)
Night three at the ER. A new record < 4 hours and oddly not at a Banner hospital which I am sure is totally coincidental. You know I have to say that I need to start inviting more medical staff to skeptics meetings since there seems to be a near universal credulity that anything you repeat verbatim could possibly have been uttered by a member of the same profession.
It's the same with mechanics, your companies computer guy and dare I say it, oh I dare I dare, women.
I'm still amused at the insistence that people in serious pain are supposed to behave as if nothing was wrong, it's a very British attitude to apply to Americans, the phrase "mustn't grumble" seems to be alien to these shores.
